Multi-Incident 9-4-2025

On 09/04/2025 at approximately 18:20 hours Engine 37 along with Ladder 12  were dispatched to Northern Berks Regional Police station for an odor investigation. Engine 37 responded with a crew of 4 and arrived on location of the Northern Berks Regional Police station, crews initial reports confirmed a strong odor near the entrance of the building but were not able to locate a source. Ladder 12’s crew investigated other various parts of the building and were not able to determine a source, from additional information obtained on scene near by construction was occurring that could of caused the odor to enter buildings HVAC system. After determining no active fire / incident both companies were placed available.

While crews were leaving the previous call Leesport Fire Company received another dispatched for a motor vehicle accident unknown injuries in the 200 block of Centre ave, Engine 37 responded to the scene while additional members responded to the station to respond with the Rescue truck. Engine 37 arrived on scene and confirmed the initial report with 3 vehicles involved one blocking North bound lanes, Fire Police from station 37 & 66 were called to the scene to aide with traffic control. EMS attended to the patients involved and transported. Crews were on location for roughly 30 minutes before being released available.
