MVA LVL 2 – 222NB to Allentown Pike 06-26-2025
At approximately 05:30 hours on June 26, 2025, the Leesport Fire Company was dispatched to Route 222 Northbound at the Allentown Pike Ramp B for a reported tractor trailer rollover with injuries.
Rescue 37 and Utility 37 responded to the incident. While en route, Deputy 12 and Ladder 12 were the first units to arrive on scene. Deputy 12 conducted an initial assessment and reported no entrapment and only minor injuries. Northern Berks Medic 6721 arrived shortly thereafter and provided medical attention to the driver for non-life-threatening injuries.
After a thorough scene assessment, it was determined that no further fire services were required. Consequently, Station 12 and Station 66 were released and placed available. Rescue 37 and Utility 37 remained on location to assist with fluid mitigation efforts while the overturned tractor trailer was being up-righted.
Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and ten minutes before clearing the incident.
