MVA W/INJ LVL2 – 61 SB 05-18-25

On 05/18/2025 at approximately 18:30 hours, Leesport Co. 37 was dispatched to the area of 61 SB in front of Redner’s for a reported vehicle accident with injuries involving a vehicle rollover. Assistant 37-1, along with Rescue 37, responded to the scene. While en route, the assignment was upgraded, and Muhlenberg Township Fire & Rescue was added for Rescue 66.

Rescue 37 and Assistant 37-1 arrived on scene and confirmed the rollover. Personnel from both Rescue 66 and Rescue 37 checked for injuries and assessed the vehicles for any hazardous materials/fluids. Northern Berks EMS, along with Muhlenberg Area Ambulance Association, responded to the scene and transported the patients to the hospital.

Muhlenberg Township Fire & Rescue was released from the scene shortly after arrival, and Leesport Co. 37 remained on location until the vehicles were safely removed from the roadway.

Crews operated at the scene for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before being released and returned to service.
